There will be changes in the playing 11 of Team India
Some changes may be seen in the Indian playing eleven for the second match against Namibia. Veteran bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who was out of the first match due to viral fever, is almost certain to make a comeback. With the arrival of Bumrah, the team will have to sit out either Arshdeep Singh or Mohammad Siraj. Although Siraj had performed well in the last match by taking three wickets, the variety of Arshdeep being a left-arm bowler may give him a slight edge.
Kuldeep’s comeback difficult
Talking about the spin department, Kuldeep Yadav did not get a chance in the last match because the team had chosen Rinku Singh to strengthen the batting. The chances of Kuldeep’s comeback against Namibia also seem unlikely as India already have bowling options like Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey. Apart from this, Tilak Verma and Abhishek Sharma can also take charge of bowling if needed.
Sanju Samson will remain on the bench
Opening batsmen Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma were flops against America, but at the moment there does not seem to be any threat to their place. This simply means that Sanju Samson may have to sit on the bench in the second match also. Overall, the team looks quite balanced and apart from the return of Bumrah, there is little scope for any major changes in the playing eleven.
Probable playing eleven of Namibia vs India:
Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dubey, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakraborty, Arshdeep Singh.
