If you pass the 10th board exam with good marks then you can also get a free laptop from the Delhi government. Delhi government has fixed a budget of Rs 7.5 crore for the Chief Minister Digital Education Scheme.

Chief Minister Digital Education Scheme Under this, high quality laptops will be given to the top 1200 students who have passed 10th. According to officials, the price of a laptop will be more than Rs 60 thousand. The objective of this scheme is to strengthen the education of students through digital medium. Through laptops, students will get help in online studies, e-learning, project work, research and preparation for competitive examinations.

Both boys and girls are equally included in the scheme. The application process for this scheme has not been launched yet. Soon, detailed information related to the selection process and application of eligible students will be released separately by the Education Department. According to experts, the availability of digital devices can help students learn new skills, have easy access to online content and keep pace with technology, thereby improving their studies and career prospects.

What will be the eligibility for free laptop scheme?

  • Only students of Delhi who have appeared in 10th class examination from CBSE board will be included in this scheme.
  • Students who will make it to the top-1200 list of CBSE Board Exam will be eligible.
  • It is also necessary that the students are studying from regular school, students studying from correspondence or open school will not be eligible.
  • After securing a place in top-1200 in class 10th, it is also necessary to take admission in class 11th.

What to do for free laptop

You just have to focus on studies. If you succeed in making it to the top 1200 in the CBSE 10th topper list, then you are sure to get an i7 laptop. Details regarding its application have not come yet. But it is believed that you will have to submit mark sheet, Aadhar card, residence certificate of Delhi in your school. It is also possible that the Delhi government itself will extract information about the top 1200 students and inform them. Later, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta can give you a laptop in the program.
