What is the qualification required for job in NIA?
Not everyone can apply for this recruitment. Because different qualifications and application conditions have been fixed for all posts.
- Inspector: Those officers of the State and Union Territory who are working on the same post on regular basis. OR Must have completed 5 years of service on regular basis in posts in Basic Cadre Pay Matrix Level-06 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400). Apart from this, candidates must have done graduation and have two years of experience in investigation of criminal cases, intelligence work or operations, information technology matters or anti-terrorism training or vigilance collection.
- Sub Inspector: The officer should be in Level-5 pay band with 6 years of service on regular basis in the Center or Union Territory. Along with this, one should have Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in criminal case investigation or intelligence work, operation etc.
- Assistant Sub Inspector: For Assistant Sub Inspector, one should have 5 years of regular service experience in the post of Head Constable Level-04 in any State or Central Police Organization. Along with graduation and 2 years experience of criminal case investigation, intelligence work operation.
- Head Constable: Candidates working on regular basis in Central or State Police Organization. Those who have passed minimum 12th. The maximum age of the candidate should not be more than 56 years as on the last date of closing of applications.
